There are currently three schools within the Il~Do Taekwondo Association: Il~Do Taekwondo at Heritage Plaza, Elite Fitness at Woodbury, and Elite Fitness at University Center, UCI. We also teach courses at Concordia University and Crean Lutheran South High School.
The Il~Do Taekwondo school at Heritage Plaza is run by Grandmaster Kang, the founder of the Il~Do Taekwondo Association, and Ms. Lois. Master Daniel runs the Elite Fitness school over at University Center. And Master Doug is in charge of the Woodbury Elite Fitness school.
“Ildo” means “One Way.” At Il-Do Taekwondo we use the traditional martial arts foundation to build character. By cultivating the mind and body, and by training others through model behavior, we are raising responsible leaders for the future. It is Grand Master Chang Jin Kang’s mission, through Taekwondo training, to see that the true mindset of Taekwondo and the ability to work hard become a part of the lives of children and young people so that they may become leaders at the forefront of their generation.
